Welcome to XCMKB Enterprise. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms apply to all customers and users of XCMKB Enterprise's products and services, including our website (xcmkb.com).
1. Introduction
XCMKB Enterprise, a sole proprietorship registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) under registration number 202403271633 (PG0561974-U), is dedicated to providing high-quality ergonomic DIY mechanical keyboards, switches, keycaps, and related computer hardware peripherals.

2. Product Information
We take great pride in the design and functionality of our products. Please note that while most of our products are designed based on open-source boards, some of our team’s designers prefer not to share their source codes. We understand the desire for transparency, especially in the DIY space, and will do our best to disclose source codes where possible, though we cannot provide access to the firmware that we flash. Additionally, while most of our products share a common design, there may be slight variations, such as different screws or case designs. We always strive to provide the best user experience possible.
3. Use of Customer Review Photos
We may use customer review photos for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media platforms (Instagram, Discord), and our website. By submitting a review photo, you consent to its use for these purposes, and we will credit the user with their username. Please note that no compensation will be provided for review photos.
4. Order Placement and Acceptance
By placing an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms. All orders are subject to acceptance by XCMKB Enterprise. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason, including but not limited to issues related to product availability or payment authorization.
5. Payment and Pricing
All prices on our website are listed in MYR and exclude applicable taxes or import duties. Payment for orders must be made in full before processing. We accept payments via the available payment gateways listed on the website.
6. Shipping and Delivery
For full details on shipping, please refer to our Shipping Policy. We strive to process and ship orders as efficiently as possible and aim to meet the estimated delivery times. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of cancellation made within the stipulated time frame (refer to our Cancellation Policy).
Note: We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs clearance processes.
7. Cancellation and Order Modifications
To modify or cancel your order, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy. Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placing them at no charge. After this period, cancellations will incur a 10% administrative fee. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.
8. Returns and Refunds
Returns will only be accepted for defective items. For more information on returns, please consult our Return & Refund Policy. Custom orders (e.g., personalized layouts or unique configurations) are non-returnable and non-refundable. Any defective items must be reported within 7 days of receiving the product.
9. Warranty
At XCMKB, we are committed to ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. This warranty applies to products purchased directly from XCMKB and is subject to the following terms:
9.1. Coverage and Duration
Our warranty is valid for 12 months from the date the product is delivered to the first end user. If a defect occurs during the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either replace the defective product with the same or similar item, or replace the defective parts of the product. This warranty applies only to defects resulting from normal use and does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or external factors.
9.2. Exclusions from Warranty
- Normal wear and tear: keycaps, switches, cables, and other consumables that degrade over time through use. This also includes 3D-printed parts, acrylic bottom plates, switch plates, and other structural parts that may show signs of aging, discoloration, or surface wear. Hot-swap sockets are also considered wear-and-tear components, especially if damaged through frequent switch swapping, improper removal, or excessive insertion force.
- Physical modifications or disassembly by the user or unauthorized personnel, including repairs or alterations not authorized by XCMKB.
- Damage caused by external factors, such as liquid spills, impacts, lightning, fire, water, or other force majeure events.
- Products modified by the user, including flashing unauthorized firmware or any unapproved alterations.
9.3. Claiming Warranty
The first end user must provide the order number and relevant photo/video evidence of the defect. Buyers must inspect the product upon delivery and report any missing items or defects within 48 hours. Warranty is valid only for the original buyer and is non-transferable.
9.4. Shipping and Repairs
- International customers: We will assist with a local repair solution, where possible. If repairable, we will provide replacement parts and a partial refund to help cover the local repair cost.
- Local (Malaysia) customers: You may return the product to us. We will repair the item and cover return shipping.
If the product is deemed unrepairable, a replacement will be provided. Return shipping for verified warranty claims is covered by XCMKB (within Malaysia). International return shipping may vary depending on the case.
9.5. Limitations
The warranty does not cover indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost usage time). Warranty service does not extend the original coverage period. This warranty is in addition to your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
9.6. DOA (Dead-on-Arrival)
If your product is defective upon arrival, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photo or video proof.
- Pre-soldered components (e.g., LEDs, USB ports, diodes) that do not work upon first use.
- Hot-swap sockets that arrive damaged or non-functional, without signs of user interference or switch swapping.
- A completely unresponsive keyboard without signs of misuse or shipping damage.
If the issue is repairable, we will provide replacement parts and a partial refund for repair costs. If the customer declines this, a full refund (excluding shipping) will be issued once the product is returned.
Minor cosmetic flaws that don’t affect function may not qualify as DOA.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, XCMKB Enterprise is not liable for indirect or special damages (e.g., loss of profit). Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected product or service.
11. Force Majeure
XCMKB Enterprise is not responsible for failing to meet obligations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, or government actions.
12. Privacy Policy
Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data responsibly.
13. Dispute Resolution
All disputes will be governed by Malaysian law. Both parties will attempt informal resolution before seeking court action in Malaysia.
14. Modification of Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of any changes posted on this page.
